R44 3 qualified pilots on board, at the end of a few days of mountain flying instruction. Due to weight hover only possible IGE, take off into wind not possible so took off downwind. The aircraft hit tubulence and then slid along ground and rolled over. Aircraft was over HOGE weight and under HIGE weight for the conditions of the day, the attempted transition in ground effect was unsuccesful. 15 Mar 2008 G-WMWM
